In a quarterly earning meeting, Two-Take revealed that Rockstar Games is working on a new title for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One which will be released sometime next year.

That is all they revealed about the new titles but there has been a rumor going around that the title might be a Next-Gen version of GTA 5.

Take-Two has had an amazing financial year as Borderlands 2 was one of the most popular games that Gearbox Software and 2K Games has ever made since its release in September 2012. Since then, the game has sold over 9 Million units and that makes Borderlands 2 the most sold 2K Games title of all time.

2K Games released a PS Vita version of the game recently which has not seen the same success as its console and PC counterpart but it is still a lot of fun to play. The reason the PS Vita version hasn’t been received the same reception as the console and PC version might be due to the game being such an old title. 2K Games and Take-Two expected a lot more from the PS Vita version but their Borderland 2’s console success makes up for the failure of the PS Vita version of the game.

Hopefully, the new Borderlands, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, will have the same success as Borderlands 2 when it comes out this Fall on the PlayStation 3, Xbox One and PC.
