Batman Arkham Knight will have no more delays as far as the release date of the title is concerned
Rocksteady will be treating Batman fans perfectly during June 23 because Batman Arkham Knight is going to feature exclusive content when purchased from several retailers. According to Warner Bros, the exclusive content has been confirmed and all of it will be included in the Season Pass within six months of the game’s launch.
The confusing part is the amount of time it is taking the game developing studio to roll them out, seeing as how Rocksteady suggested that these retailer-exclusive perks will be widely distributed during the month of August or September. The studio stated that:
“Throughout the six months of additional Batman: Arkham Knight content, Premium and Season Pass owners will receive all in-game content that is offered through various retail pre-order incentives,” the developer noted on its official forum.”
“This includes the Harley Quinn and Red Hood Story Packs, as well as any Batmobile or Booster Pack that was available as early bonuses for pre-order of the game. For those who did not receive the content with their game, these items will become available when their respective exclusivity windows expire in August/September.”
Previously, the publisher of Batman Arkham Knight had to go through a firestorm because the video game’s ridiculously expensive $270 Batmobile Edition was cancelled just a week prior to launch. While this will no doubt upset a lot of gamers of various platforms (especially those who have the money to spend on limited edition content like this), Rocksteady has promised that there will be no more delays as far as the release date of the game is concerned.
That being said, Batman Arkham Knight will be available to play next week, when it reaches out to Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Windows on 23rd June.
