if this game is at least 720p and at a solid 30fps then its a day one buy

    • Twibbit

you are going to be disappointed because the vita is at max 544p with its screen.

  • Joseph

Prepare yourselves for the retards that are going to say. No the Vita is more powerful than the 360.

    • Xbox BRO

      Kill yourself, faggot.

  • RoboAddy

Holy shit, the Vita version looks better than the 360 version.

  • sonyntendo

Vita version looked way better than the 360 version?!

    • Stereotypical_White_Fella

no way…look at everything in the distance compared to the vita…you’re a fool if you think it looks better on vita

      • Josh

PC looks nice but 360 is a blurry mess. Vita looks better than 360 version, at least using those screen shots.

        • nate

I don’t think the actual game looks that blurry lol

          • Josh

            I sure hope now…

        • deSSy2724

          Look at BF4 (PS4 vs X1).

Are you trying to tell me that X1 looks better just because the PS4 version uses more “blur effect”?

          • Josh

Don’t really wanna take the time to look at BF4, but i will say it’s different when the blur is from the frame actually moving aka “blur effect”. Here it looks like a cutscene or stationary shot and seems to be used because the console couldn’t handle that far of a draw distance. But like I said, the game might look better overall, just not from that screen shot used above.

          • deSSy2724

Ok… btw i dont like blur (mostly).

      • Losyak

At least you can see everything in the distance on Vita, pretty or not

      • Jan Compaf

but i cant see anything in the distance for X360 but a lot of BLURR and neither do you LMFAO , if you say you do you are a plain liar and a fool , if thats the real version of BD2 for 360 lmao
anyway ill get this for vita when its free from PSN+ since i already finished BD2

    • RadicalElation

Your eyes deceive you then. It’s more sharp, but the 360 is known for crazy blur to compensate for lack AA. When you look at the actual textures and lighting, the 360 is better. That’s not to say the Vita looks awful, I desperately want one, but it does not look better.

I sold my 360, kept my PS3 and have money down for a PS4. I’m in the Sony camp, if any, so this doesn’t come from any Xbone fanboyism.

    • fatdog21

lol the vita version looks good but im not goin to say its looks better than the 360

  • MasterChief3624

Are my eyes deceiving me? There’s no way the Vita version should look that much better than the 360 one… unless the pictures were mislabeled?

  • Losyak

I don’t want to start another Sony vs MS feud, but it almost looks better than 360

    • Stereotypical_White_Fella

      no, not even close

      • Helmer

        Hello, fanboy 🙂

    • Lee

As much as I love some of the games on the Xbox 360, but 360’s processor and hardware is slightly less than Sony’s. Its unfortunate but it does make a lot of sense with a few games that were unable to maintain the same exact or better quality than the PS3. As far as I am concerned, there is more hard drive, RAM, and CPU than Xbox 360. But PS3 has less GPU or at least is less superior. I think its more of the RAM that causes PS3 to win slightly. I won’t say I’m a hardcore fan boy. I prefer PS3. But I love some of the Xbox 360 games.
And console haters, don’t forget that your criticism on a console system is basically criticizing a PC as it contains similar pieces of a computer. It is a computer in many ways. Just a lower-res version.

Now for the Vita. This should be interesting. I heard people claiming that it won’t be the same Borderlands 2 game as we know well and love (or hate). I do think for a handheld, this could still work. I’m still very surprised that a Vita can actually handle Borderlands 2 AT ALL. Its a pretty large game with loads of content. I am though very sad that Tiny TIna’s DLC probably won’t come into play as it does contain a lot of stuff that probably cannot be handled with the Vita. We’ll just have to wait and see, shall we? Also, I don’t really think this screen shot gives much justice. Your comparing a cutscene. Not in-game footage. I want see gameplay screenshots. With the HUD and everything.
Still, overall, I think this game still will be a lot of fun just like on the other ports. I have a fair amount of expectations.

      • Andrew

Ps3 has less RAM than 360 (256MB vs 512MB). The Cell processor in the ps3 is faster than the 360’s, but harder to code for. Many games looked better on the 360 simply due to the learning curve of coding for the Cell.

        • Kusarigama

thats half correct ps3 has 256mb AND 256 vram i believe so it totals out

      • mike

The 360 has a better GPU than the PS3. That’s why a lot of games looked better and ran smoother, not because the cell was hard to code for… simple math. The GPU is better, and that is the main component needed for visuals. Neither had an edge with the CPU because although PS3 theoretically had the better processor, almost no one could take full advantage of it, making the extra power useless. The 360’s RAM was more flexible. Overall the 360 is better hardware and that has been proven time and time again with multiplatform games. Oh, so you say Uncharted? The Last of Us? The 360 could have done both of those games just as well, if not better than the PS3. Those games didn’t out shine the 360 because of better hardware. They out shined the 360 because of a better, more talented developer. They are experts at visual flair and taking advantage of hardware. They have been doing it since the days of Crash on the PS1, and even before that with Way of the Warrior on the 3DO. I think it’s pretty disrespectful for so many people to give the hardware undue credit when it was the very hard working and talented developers that took the PS3 a notch above with a select few games.

Lovin my Vita since I bought it to remote play with my PS4, great device for when you are on holiday bored in a hotel room.

  • Now let’s see it moving… Framerate and responsiveness to input is much more important. I’ll buy it anyway, I want more people putting games on Vita, but I’ll be disappointed if the game is harder to play because of controls then the actual mechanics.

  • joel

    not bad for a hanheld

  • Dark_K1ng_III

wrong comparison… you put a low res image of the pc version… fail…

    • Jack Cyrus

Yeah, because it makes total sense to compare a 960*544 picture to a 1920*1080 one…

      • Hassassin

actually yes… they should upscale the other image to even the image size thought. Rez does matter.

        • Trigonometrize

Actually no… not when you’re comparing an image that appears on a 24′ monitor to a 5′ screen.

          • Hassassin

My phone has a 1080p 5′ display… Make the comparisons right, if you compare following the lowest common denominator then you are biased towards it.

          • MasterChief3624

Damn, 5 feet? How do you fit that in your pocket?

          • Hassassin

You should see my tailor, there’s a reason he’s called the best on diagon alley.

          • Mohammed Mohammed ALLBAR

ALLAH! AKBAR! I’m a fellow jihadist fighter, hijab wearing retard, too! XD

          • Locotomo

            i´d like that 24 feet monitor 😀

          • tubers

Sure but there should also be a comparison with the actual respective device displays with a good camera and the same lighting.

The VITA only has a 5 inch 544p screen so blowing its screenshot up isn’t exactly end representative unless you just stare at pictures on a computer.

        • deSSy2724

They should upscale the PS Vita to 1920x 1080p and compare it, that would be the real comparison

BUT AGAIN. Vita has a much smaller screen, so, Vita doesnt needs BIG resolutions

      • extermin8or2

Use your brain…. the smaller res image is displayed on a smaller screen…. so the difference if it where upscaled wont be noticeable when playing it on the vita-which is all that actually matters ultimately:how it looks when played.

    • I don’t think the comparison is of the resolution.

  • Jeff Masser

Should be alot more fun to play this on the vita!

  • Kaiju of the Grotto

i like the look, not as good as the PC, but still not bad!

  • If They Add some Blur and God Rays to Vita Version then game will be looks better 😉
But now I cant wait for this game to play on my PS Vita 😀
