Shin Megami Tensei V Announced For Nintendo Switch, Trailer Released

Shin Megami Tensei V has been officially revealed by Atlus today in a livestream. The announcement was presented with a trailer that teased what to expect from the game and confirmed that it is only coming to the Nintendo Switch.

Shin Megami Tensei V appears to be a follow up to 3DS game although details about it are currently unknown and there was no confirmed release date set for it. You can watch the official reveal trailer below.

It is unknown whether this is the only HD project that was teased a while back. The confirmation of Shin Megami Tensei V as a Switch exclusive is no surprise since the 3DS games never made it to another platform. Atlus is also similarly keeping Persona series as a PlayStation console exclusive even though Persona is a spin-off based on the Shin Megami Tensei series.

There was no release date confirmed for it yet aside from the listed platform being Nintendo Switch. More details about the project will be revealed at a later date.
