Smartphone users in Japan can now stream Final Fantasy XIII


We’ve come a long way haven’t we? Final Fantasy XIII had amazing graphics when the game was released and now people can play the game on their smartphones. Today was the much awaited release date of Final Fantasy XIII for iOS and Android devices in Japan.

The game is streamed to smartphones using Square Enix’s Cloud Gaming Service powered by G-Cluster technology by a Finnish Cloud Service Provider. Square Enix recommend fans have at least a 3mbps connection to play this game which isn’t a huge deal in Japan.


The game is free to download and play for the first half hour but will require a 2000 yen payment for the full game.
