Sony Ready to Boost PlayStation 4’s Performance, Difference Between XB1 and PS4 Grows

Recently, two industry insiders who go by the names of Tidux and Thuway shared some interesting information regarding the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. A couple of days ago, Tidux teased the fans by saying, “Who knew ice could perform. future improvements are completely Bananas. #PS4”. This was linked to what he said a few days earlier when he basically said that if you’re on the PlayStation 4 then you’re going to have the better gaming experience then any other gaming console out there.

Thuway responded to the tweet above by saying,”If the number you are giving me is true, than it really is game over Xbox One.” After being asked what he was talking about, Thuway clarified that he was talking about the¬†Playstation 4 performance boost coming in future and much better the PlayStation 4 will get after the update.

Thuway added,¬†“But if it is true, the Xbox One to PS4 port differences will grow much larger if devs choose to make PS4 versions shine.” So according to Thuway, this “Boost” will significantly improve the PlayStation 4’s performance making it better then the Xbox One. More then it already is and the gap between the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 will grow even bigger.

In the past, these industry insiders have leaked information that turned out to be 100% true so these guys are a reliable source and we can’t ignore what they’re talking about.

What are your thoughts on the matter? Do you think that the PlayStation 4 will be the superior next-gen console? Let us know in the comments.

Would it just be an update? How would they go about this?

Its going to be an update to the API, according to an article i read some time ago apparently the PS4 is using a lot of old code (some of which is even from the PS3) i assume this old code is what is holding back this console.
