Developed by Three One Zero, Adrift is a first person space simulation game that was originally announced back in June of 2014. Now, following the game’s release on both the PlayStation 4 and the PC, we have now learned that the game has been canceled for the Xbox One.
This information comes courtesy of a conversation that took place on Twitter between and a fan and game director Adam Orth. In it, the fan Tweets a picture of themselves having pre-ordering the game to Adam Orth, to which the game director replies, “That’s not real. You should get a refund immediately. Game not releasing on Xbox One.”
As of now, no further information is known about the cancellation but hopefully developer Three One Zero will issue an official statement soon.

Adr1ft tells the story of Alex Oshima, a female astronaut who is stuck on the wreckage of a space station with no memory of the events that have transpired till that point. From there, players must keep Alex alive while trying to figure out how to return home safety. Along the way the character must solve various puzzles, collect audio logs and artifacts in order to piece together information, all while under the threat of a constantly depleting oxygen source.
Adr1ft is available now for the PlayStation 4 and the PC.
