EA has updated the official Star Wars Battlefront site with new information regarding the game’s forthcoming multiplayer beta. While the publisher did not announce a date for the beta’s launch, it assured fans that the final date will be revealed as soon as possible.
The good news is that this multiplayer beta will be open for all PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC (via Origin) users. There will be no prerequisites for getting yourself in. Once the beta’s availability has been announced, you’ll be able to download its client from the respective digital store on your platform of choice.
In other good news, the beta will feature the newly revealed multiplayer mode, Drop Zone on Sullust. Additionally, according to EA, those looking to check out Stranded on Tatooine solo or with a friend (online or couch co-op) will find themselves happy with the beta Survival Mission mode.
