Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition: Fight Money Requirements Characters, Stages & Costumes

Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition is available now for the PS4 and PC. The game can be downloaded by the base Street Fighter V users as a free update while those who are jumping in as a new user can get the Arcade Edition featuring the Season Pass 1 and 2 characters, bringing the combined number for the character roster to 28.

Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition still keeps the fight money mechanic from the base game, so you can technically get most of the Season Pass 3 characters if you can grind out the required fight money for them. Fight money can also be used to purchase stages and costumes, so if you already have the season pass for the upcoming characters, you can spend the fight money to get new stages and costumes.

Total Fight Money Required To Get Each Costume, Stage and Character

  • New Characters – 100, 000FM or $5.99 / € 5.99
  • New Stages – 70, 000FM or $3.99 / € 3.99
  • Alternate Stage – 40, 000FM or $1.99 / € 1.99
  • Story Costumes – 40, 000FM or $1.99 / € 1.99
  • Premium Costumes – $3.99 / € 3.99

While 100,000 Fight Money might seem like a lot, if you play through most of the story mode with the current character roster, you can earn a decent amount of it. This can be more than enough to get atleast 2-3 characters or grab a couple of stages and costumes. The rest of the grind depends on how much patience you have for getting the required amount of fight money. Keep in mind that you will need to be connected online in order to get fight money in the game.

Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition was released on January 16th for the PS4 and PC.
