Sunset Overdrive Could Be Heading To PC, Officially Rated In Korea

Sunset Overdrive remains one of the rare Xbox One exclusives that still hasn’t made its way to PC. It was developed by Insomniac Games before they worked on Ratchet and Clank and Spider-Man for the PS4. It remains a unique third person open world shooter that was a new IP during the console’s launch.

Sunset Overdrive has been sadly neglected to the Xbox One hardware and there is no update or patch planned for it, especially if you own Xbox One X. This means that fans who were hoping to see the game in its full glory might have to wait for a potential PC verison, which seems to be likely if we go by the rating for the PC version as discovered by Gematsu.

The game was rated by the Korean rating board which has accurately leaked many games in the past. This rating could hint at a Sunset Overdrive finally gets its chance on PC. Insomniac Games owns the original IP but the first game was published by Microsoft and they are the only ones who can bring it to PC along with Insomniac Games.

Sunset Overdrive is also available as part of the Xbox Game Pass on the Xbox One. There was a short post-launch DLC expansion that added some more content to the game so if this game comes to PC, chances are that it will include it as well.
