Super Smash Bros. For The Nintendo Switch Potentially Leaked With Screenshots

Super Smash Bros. has been rumored to be announced for the Nintendo Switch at the upcoming E3 but we have yet to hear about any official word from Nintendo. Since Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild are already two games that are essentially an enhanced version of their Nintendo Wii U counterpart, it wouldn’t be surprising to see Super Smash Bros. also getting a re-release on the Nintendo Switch.

The latest set of leaks are from 4chan where some users have allegedly posted screenshots from the Nintendo Switch version of Super Smash Bros. While it might be easy to fake these screens, it is hard to tell with what we can see, since they do look legitimate. However some of the assets for Smash Bros. Switch appear to be based on the 3DS version but they are all in high-definition quality, while the 3DS was running at a very low resolution.

You can check out these leaked screenshots below and remember to take this rumor with a grain of salt, since Smash fans are usually pretty good when it comes to posting fake leaks.

The leaked screenshots do give us a tease at what to expect from a potential Super Smash Bros. port on the Nintendo Switch, and they look great. Now we have to wait for the upcoming E3 to see if the rumor has any legitimacy to it, or it was simply fabricated by a fan.
