System Requirements Revealed For Halo 5 Forge

As previously revealed, Halo 5 Forge makes it’s way onto the PC on 8th September and will bring with it the entire Forge level creation system already present on the Xbox One. Now, 343 industries has revealed the system requirements for the feature itself.

Features present in Forge will include full mouse and keyboard support, 4k resolution display capabilities, a new content browser that allows users to showcase and share their creations, and the ability to play maps with friends online through custom games.

The system requirements are:

Minimum:

  • Operating system: Windows 10 Anniversary Edition (version 1607 or later)
  • DirectX: DirectX 12.
  • CPU: Intel Core i5 at 2.3 Ghz or AMD equivalent.
  • GPU: GeForce 650 Ti.
  • VRAM: 2GB.
  • RAM: 8GB.
  • HDD: 40GB.

Recommended (1080p at 60 FPS):

  • Operating system: Windows 10 Anniversary Edition (version 1607 or later)
  • DirectX: DirectX 12.
  • CPU: Intel Core i5-3570k at 3.4 Ghz or AMD equivalent.
  • GPU: GeForce 970.
  • VRAM: 4GB.
  • RAM: 12GB.
  • HDD: 40GB.

Ultra (4K at 60 FPS):

  • Operating system: Windows 10 Anniversary Edition (version 1607 or later)
  • DirectX: DirectX 12.
  • CPU: Intel Core i7-4770k at 3.4 Ghz or AMD equivalent.
  • GPU: GeForce 980 Ti.
  • VRAM: 6GB.
  • RAM: 16GB.
  • HDD: 40GB.

Halo 5: Forge is also set to have have Achievements with Gamerscore separate from Halo 5 guardians.

Also releasing alongside Halo 5 Forge will be the free upcoming DLC, Anvil’s Legacy for Halo 5: Guardians. The DLC will add new maps, armor and new REQs to the game.
