DualShock 4 is now already available at a wide range of retailers in advance of the PlayStation 4’s launch. User unable to contain their excitement for the next-generation consoles have picked up the DualShock 4 controllers and have posted their impressions and have also tested and reported the functionality of the DualShock 4 with the PlayStation 3 and its games.
One enthusiastic reddit user, utc, bought the DualShock 4 controller, took it apart and painted it white. DualShock 4 has only been announced in three colours so far; Black, Red and Blue, although it is likely that more colours including ‘white’ will be officially available from Sony.

Utc used Duplicolor Adhesion Promoter, Krylon Fusion, and Krylon Fusion Clear to paint the DualShock 4 white. He thought about painting the whole controller white, but the other half of the controller is textured and hence he decided to go with the original colour scheme of the DualShock 4. It took him four-to-six coats of white paint and two-to-three types of clear type. Have a look at more images below:
