Sadly though, there won’t be much in the way of new content this time around as Valve is busy working on other things for the game, such as an all-new Pyro Pack, improvements to the Competitive Mode, and a brand new update and campaign. Then does that mean that Team Fortress 2 won’t have a Halloween event this year? Of course not.
According to Valve:
“Next week, as always, every past Scream Fortress event will rise from the dead to terrorize your computers for a limited, horrifying time, including last year’s Merasmissions. We’ll also be shipping some community Halloween maps, all-new custom contracts for those maps, a new Halloween taunt, a new item that gives unusual effects to taunts, and a new cosmetics case!”
If you’re one of those fans that haven’t played Team Fortress 2 for quite some time, yet still want to revisit some of the old nostalgic Scream Fortress events, you might not find a better opportunity to dive right back into the game.
Developed and published by the Valve Corporation, Team Fortress 2 is an arena based shooter that first released on 9th October, 2007, nine years ago this month. The game is currently available for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC, Mac and Linux.
