Tom Clancy’s The Division is an online-only multiplayer shooter with role-playing elements integrated in its gameplay. It also offers the players loot drops that are random and can depend on the scavenging stat buff of the player. Fortunately, there are some items available that can help in increasing this scavenging percentage and allowing the player to get more loot drops.
There are a couple of ways to increase the scavenging percentage.
Equipping Gear With Increased Scavenging Stat Buff
You can try to find gear that has the added skill to increase the scavenging percentage. Since each gear offers a variety of skills like extra ammo or medkits, there are also gears available that can help you get an improved scavenging percentage. Once you locate such a gear, it is recommend to equip them when you are grinding for different loot drops.
Upgrading Gears From Tech Wing
If you can’t find a gear with increased scavenging percentage, you can try to create your own by utilizing the tech wing in your base of operations. You can head to the tech wing in base of operations to re-calibrate some of the stat buffs for your gear in order to increase its scavenging percentage.
If you have no idea about your scavenging percentage, you can check it from the stats screen for your character. The scavenging percentage can be located all the way to the bottom of the stats screen.
If you have a good scavenging percentage then it is highly recommend to explore each of the mission in detail because there are plenty of crates hidden throughout each of the mission area with gears that can prove to be useful.
Tom Clancy’s The Division is available now for the PS4, Xbox One and PC.
