Tom Clancy’s The Division Servers Go Live Today; Ubisoft Comments On Server Issues

The Division uncharted

Tom Clancy’s The Division servers are now officially live starting today for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Since the game was leaked ahead of the official launch, some of the early buyers weren’t able to play their game until the official release date. Ubisoft has now made the servers live for the game so if you are still holding onto your copy of the game, you should be able to play online.

Since Tom Clancy’s The Division is an online only game, the game requires the players to be always online as it lacks any offline mode. This has resulted in some players facing some launch day issues including not being able to start the story or create their characters. Ubisoft has now acknowledged these issues and assured that they are resolved.

We’re currently aware of an issue impacting our games and services and we’re actively investigating to deploy a solution as quickly as possible. Thanks for your patience and understanding.

UPDATE 2:00AM EST: All services have resumed normal operation on all platforms. We are monitoring the situation.

If you were experiencing issues with accessing online servers, you should be able to get online now and start your journey in the world of Tom Clancy’s The Division.

Tom Clancy’s The Division is out today on March 8th for the PS4, Xbox One and PC. It was developed by Ubisoft Massive and published by Ubisoft.
