Trophy Listing shows Ratchet and Clank: Into the Nexus for PlayStation VITA

Ratchet and Clank: Into the Nexus is a PlayStation 3 title, but it has been long rumored that it will be getting a VITA version as well. Now, a new leak, that came from a trophy listing for the game, lists the VITA version along with the PS3 version; further solidifying the rumor of the game coming to VITA.

Ratchet and Clank: Into the Nexus is another brand new Ratchet and Clank game from Insomniac Games. While Insomniac Games might have gone multiplatform with Sunset Overdrive for Xbox One, their Ratchet and Clank franchise is still exclusive to PlayStation and Sony platforms.

The trophy listing was spotted by a reddit user and it clearly showed the VITA version listed alongside the PS3 version. Check out the listing below.

Earlier, we did get an official confirmation of sorts when a Sony employee leaked out a bundle deal for Ratchet and Clank: Into the Nexus for VITA, which included the game and a VITA. Amazon France has also listed the VITA version of the game for quite a while, and although we haven’t gotten a 100% official confirmation, leaks like these do point to a VITA version as a possibility in the future.

Insomniac Games never denied the possibility of a VITA version but they wanted to get a quality port on VITA. They stated: “We’d love for a Vita version to be released. But we wouldn’t develop it in-house, and it’d have to live up to the quality standard of the series.”

I hope so. I personally love platforming games on hand handle better than on tv.

  • Despite the denials to the contrary I think that the evidence that there is a Vita version somewhere is mounting, yet still silence from Sony. After the last debacle with R&C on the Vita, Insomniac are clearly reluctant to put their name anywhere near it, even if they didn’t do the port…
