Ultra Street Fighter IV Arrives On PS4 On May 26th For $24.99

During the PlayStation Experience on December 6th, Sony announced that its Third Party Production Team, lead by Gio Corsi, were developing and producing Ultra Street Fighter IV for PS4. This announcement came with the reveal of Street Fighter V, coming exclusively on consoles on PS4 and PC. The title was revealed to come out in Spring 2015.

Well, today Gio Corsi announced on the Official PlayStation Blog that Ultra Street Fighter IV will come out on May 26th for the affordable price of $24.99.

Gio Corsi assures fans that “all the characters, all the levels, and all of the DLC that have been launched so far will be included in the PS4 version of the game” and that the input lag that was found in the PS3 version of the game won’t be present in the PS4 version.

From his wording, Ultra Street Fighter IV appears to be a digital only title so be sure to remember it before going to your favourite retailer asking for the game. We’re sure EVO fans will be happy of this announcement since the Event is right behind the corner.

That is a very, very reasonable price. I’m impressed. Was expecting a full retail price. Seems this generation, if you’re a fighting game fan PlayStation is where it is at. Now, off to find out what fight pads / arcade sticks are compatible with the PS4.

This will be used in EVO Tournaments from now on with no issues that are currently on ps3/pc/xbox 360
