Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection: Some Gorgeous Photo Mode Screenshots And Textures Comparison

Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection is an upcoming Remaster of the Uncharted Trilogy on PS3 in 1080p and 60 fps for PS4. It is being developed by Bluepoint Games and they have done an amazing job on this collection so far.

Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection also includes a Photo Mode for use in the game. This allows the players to take some great screenshots using the Photo Mode. Some of these can be seen below, courtesy of NeoGAF user Blimblim.

Blimblim also shared the famous screenshot of the tree textures in Uncharted 3, and how they hold up in the Remaster. You can check out this comparison in the screenshots below. (Top = PS3, Bottom = PS4)

The above comparison shows the famous screenshot from Uncharted 3 on PS3 compared to PS4. The PS3 version is being run at 720p resolution that is upscaled to 1080p to match the native 1080p resolution of the PS4 version of the game.

Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection will be out on October 7th for the PS4.

Photo mode is such BS. Screenshots should show what actual gameplay looks like. I still get a kick out of people posting photo-mode shots of Driveclub claiming that’s how it looks in-game.

Up there the image on the right is from the first uncharted, right?

My GOD look at that tree. (Sarcasm)
