Wasteland 3 Successfully Reaches CrowdFunding Goal Of $2.75 Million


Wasteland 2 developers, inXile Entertainment, recently past their goal of $2.75 million for the campaign of their upcoming title, Wasteland 3. They reached their goal in just 3 days, and have achieved more than they expected.

At the time of writing, the crowdfunding has reached over $2.8 million. The game is fully funded, but the fans asked for stretch goals and inXile Entertainment provided.

Wasteland 3 Strech Goals

InXile Entertainment announced the stretch goals, and will be adding the following features to the game as the community reaches them:

  • At $2.85 million, inXile Entertainment will be adding 37 Pieces of FlairThis will add more Ranger customization to the game, allowing you to look more unique and different. These 37 pieces of Flair will include multiple body types, heads, and hairstyles. Another new feature being added to the game allows you to see what you have equipped.
  • At $3 million, inXile will be adding a Companion feature to the game. The AI codenamed Morningstar, will be your assistant on your journey. Morningstar will also help you during combat by giving you well-timed advice on how to eliminate your targets.
  • At $3.1 million, you will get the ability to customize your Squad Insignia. This insignia will show up on your base, flag, etc.

InXile Entertainement also added a CrowdOx option for their backers, allows them to donate through their PayPal accounts if they prefer to do so. Fans can continue supporting the game, as the funding of the game will continue for the next 25 days.
