The Witcher 3: Hearts of Stone: Special Edition Delayed in North America

CD Projekt RED today released Hearts of Stone, the first expansion for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, across Ps4, Xbox One and PC. However, physical version of the game, including collectible decks has been delayed. The Community Leader and Website Coordinator of CD Projekt RED, Marcin Momot, announced,

Dear North American gamers, as you might have heard, we prepared a special boxed edition of Hearts of Stone that was supposed to be sold in GameStop stores all over America.

However, it has come to our attention that, due to logistical problems, customers will be unable to obtain the physical edition of the game for several days after launch. We are working with GameStop to fix this situation as soon as possible and deeply apologize for the inconvenience.

Although no particular date was announced for the availability of this edition, it is expected to be available soon in GameStop store. The special edition box set for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is available at selected worldwide retailers for $19.99. The box set includes Hearts of Stone expansion and Gwent card decks. Players can also purchase The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt digital season pass and grab the physical Gwent cards separately.
