The Witcher 3: Patch 1.06 For PC and Patch 1.05 For Consoles Due Next Week; Changelog Inside

CD Project Red has announced that a new patch is currently in development for the PC version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. This new patch is more of a hotfix that is being released next week to fix some of the issues currently faced by the players.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt received a new patch last week on the PC, PS4 and Xbox One but it seems this won’t be the last as a new patch has been just announced for PC. This new patch will bring the game’s version up to 1.06 and contains some short bug fixes. CD Project Red’s Community Lead, Marcin Momot confirmed that a console patch is also due after the PC version.

For the full list of changes in this latest patch, read the changelog below.

  • – Fixes the endless loading screen when fighting the Ice Giant during the quest ‘Lord of Undvik’
  • – Geralt’s clothes will no longer be wet after leaving the menu
  • – The gate in the crypt now works correctly during the quest ‘Scavenger Hunt: Viper School Gear’
  • – Fixes the lack of interaction with Roche on Oxenfurt Bridge in the quest ‘Get Junior’
  • – Fixes an issue that prevented players from creating more than one item via Crafting/Alchemy

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is now available on the PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

    I must be incredibly lucky because I did not have one of the issues which were addressed. I wish they had not removed the shells completely from the guy in Novigrad. It would have made more sense to allow them to only be bought the first time visiting the merchant rather than never.

    The chort who shows up if the cows are killed more than one time is somewhat amusing, I guess it is unless a save fails to load. I intentionally summoned it before leaving White Orchard because of how rude the people were to Geralt. I will go back later to see if it has done any serious damage. I know it can kill the peasants and soldiers, so it should be interesting. I read if you go back and kill it another one spawns and then they continue to spawn after one dies.

    I’d have been so mad about the chort if it prevented me from talking to Vesemir to trigger leaving White Orchard. I was able to leave the area & make it back to him before he engaged the chort again. Seeing it outside the windows of the inn as the cut scene was happening was rather amusing.
