Xbox Live Games With Gold For October 2017; Here’s What Games To Expect

Xbox Live Games with Gold for the month of October 2017 haven’t been officially announced yet by Microsoft. The announcement for these games is expected this Wednesday since it is usually confirmed on the last Wednesday of the month. While Microsoft hasn’t shared any details for the Games with Gold lineup for October 2017, an alleged leaked image might have revealed some of the upcoming games.

For the month of September 2017, Games with Gold lineup featured games like Forza Motorsport 5, Oxenfree, Hydrothunder and Battlefield 3 for the Xbox One. It was not a bad month overall but what about the upcoming October? While there is no proper announcement for Games with Gold in October 2017, a leak that should be taken with a grain of massive salt points towards Devil May Cry: Definitive Edition and Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor for the Xbox One. The backwards compatible games that are rumored include Castlevania: Lords of Shadow and Blood Drive.

If this leaked rumor is true, then this is going to be one of the better free games month for the Xbox Live Gold users but since it is just a rumor for now, don’t get your hopes up and wait for the official announcement.

As for what to expect from the next month, perhaps Microsoft is going to add a game which also showcases the improvements for the Xbox One X. There are more than 130 games that are planned for Xbox One X support and perhaps one of them will be made available in the coming month.
