Yes I am super excited for this.

    • You are flat out wrong

Of course you are. You have no games.

  • jdp12

Looks pretty cool, but I’d imagine that it’ll come to the PS4 at some point… so for me this isn’t a system seller.

  • ImonadrugcalledCharlieSheen

40k, that’s all? infamous had 120k but way to try at least Microsoft.

    • Failz

You clearly have no idea how games work. 40k polys in characters means a lot more on the screen. 120k polys would mean less on the screen or slower frame rate or effects (Infamous 30frames). Understand?

      • jdp12

        not necessarily.

  • Ryan 741

This looks sweet. I’m out before the Sonytologists get here and spread the hate.

    • ImonadrugcalledCharlieSheen

“Sonytologists”, at least you get points for originality even if you are a hypocrite.

    • You are flat out wrong

You have no games so you can hardly reject the meagre crumbs you get given.

      • Nathan O

such a dumb argument when the PS4 also has no games, and the games it does have I played last year on my PC

        • jdp12

to be fair, Sony did focus heavily on the PS3 during the former half of 2013, with games like TLoU, Beyond: Two Souls, Puppeteer, GT6 and GoW:A which could have all been moved to PS4 and spiced up a little. Microsoft only had a new Gears game in 2013 on the 360 when it came to exclusives, and it was made by a B tier dev.

        • You are flat out wrong

It’s a real shame that even with “all those indies” the PS4 still has more AAA worthwhile confirmed first party games in 2014 than the Sh*tbox Done does.

    • ps4lol

You seem upset at PS4’s stronger hardware, ~3 million sales lead, and larger developer support. It must suck that most or all of your claims and predictions turn out WRONG.

Microsoft fanboy shills don’t love their console they just hate the success of others.

  • Edonus

Cant wait. I love kinect games. I would have really liked if Crimson Dragon stayed full kinect. That game is my only true disappointment on the X1 so far.
This game is suppose to be episodic too…. I wonder how that will work out.

    • You are flat out wrong

“Cant wait. I love kinect games.”

      Opinion disregarded.

      • Nathan O

“You are flat out wrong” or “ps4lol”

        Opinion disregarded

        • You are flat out wrong

          Xbot tears.

          Existence disregarded.

  • Mike Greenway

You’re so right, I can’t wait to play this game.:)

  • You are flat out wrong

    lol another 360 up-port.

    • Edonus

Thats not really a port. They may have started prototyping on the 360 but it doesnt mean it isnt designed for the X1.
So if this is LOL and not really being a port I guess Last of Us Ps4 is ROFL. Or are you just being a pony again.

      • Jason Mounce

It is a Port. It started on 360 and moved up to X1. Just because it wasn’t finished on 360 then moved to X1 doesn’t make it ‘Not a port’.

A port is any game that started work, its foundation, on ‘One’ platform and moved elsewhere. Just as Titanfall’s Sequel is gonna ‘PORT’ to PS4. Though in this instance, it’s for a game already-released, same essence though where its foundation was 360/X1/PC. (Though that’s debatable since people said PS4 code for the controller was always in the game just incase)

        • Edonus

What you are missing is a port has to be something complete. As an example: If MS took Ryse or Dead Rising 3 and released a version of it on the 360 that would be a port….. but those games started development in some form or fashion on the 360 So using your definition of a port the 360 would be porting a game to itself. The word you want to use is prototyped or just say started development on.

          • Ryan 741

Well said, but get your hardhat on because a Sony hate storm is incoming.

          • Jason Mounce

Brand preference has nothing to do with this. People confusing Fanboyism with this are childish. This is about people making idiotic claims that a Word (Port) and its definition become obsolete because Edonus ‘says so’. Just because someone doesn’t like hearing that word and they think it has ‘negative vibes’ on it doesn’t mean it just vanishes off the face of the earth. If something is a Port, its a PORT. TONS OF GAMES are being ported to this day, from PS1 to PS2 to PS3 to Xbox to 360 to PC to Linux to MAC.

Arguing this, isn’t about being a Sony or Microsoft or Nintendo or PC fanboy. This is arguing the English language and the factual nature of what a WORD IS DEFINED AS.

As per my examples I used, the wording remains completely the same

Forza 5 was ported from 360 to X1 and polished to fit X1’s architecture – it wasn’t released on 360.

Shadow of the Colossus was only meant to be on PS2 – it was PORTED and Remastered on PS3.

Same for MGS2 and 3 and Peacewalker. Same for Halo 1 from MAC to Xbox/PC – Same for The Last of Us from PS3 to PS4.

They are ‘ALL’ Port jobs. PERIOD. This is not debatable, this isn’t about Fanboys. ‘Porting’ is exactly that, is exactly that word. Telling someone ‘Its not a port job bra’ doesn’t simply erase the fact that the word ‘PORT’ or Porting doesn’t go away because someone thinks it sounds negative or biased or ‘partially untrue’ to an individuals mind. It’s like telling someone that ‘Rainy days are gloomy’ – thus the term ‘raining’ doesn’t exist, it’s simply ‘Water coming from clouds’ but it no longer is rain because the word ‘rain’ sounds too negative to you, Edonus, or anyone.

Can’t believe I have to explain such a thing this much to people, people think everythings a Fanboy or console war when its infact a War on ignorance at the core. I’m standing here on the sidelines yelling at the fanboys and stupid people equally to open their eyes.

Not at all, want to get one a few years down the road once the better first party games start coming out. I like the ps4 console its just the fans can be a little cultish.

          • Jason Mounce

I’ll consider that simply your Opinion. However dependant it is on your perceptions that are opinionated rather than based on facts and actual word definitions. I’ll leave this simple link to help show you that your opinion, is merely an opinion and that my own is likely the most accurate to the actual word of ‘Port’, Porting, To-Port on or Game porting.

“Porting is also the term used when a video game designed to run on one platform, be it an arcade, video game console, or personal computer, is converted to run on a different platform” – “Earlier video game “ports” were often not true ports, but rather reworked versions of the games.”

Aka. It’s a Port. Reworked or Destined for more than one platform – it is either just a ‘true’ or simply ‘meh’ porting job. You EMPHASIZING that something is prototyped on ‘Console[A]’ thus invalidates it being called a Port because it hasn’t released is a slippery-slope fallacy. You tell me that the word ‘Port’ basically becomes Non-existent because you say so. You don’t even tell me where this word vanishes and that because the game hadn’t been released, it is UNUSABLE? There is absolutely NO logic in what you say. A game being released or a game not being released yet does not alter Word definitions based on what you say. The game ‘Started here’ [A] and then ends up on [B] or [C] whether before or after it ‘releases’ it has been Ported.

So, in a nutshell. You’re arguing with me by telling me the word ‘Port’ and its definition, and ‘Game Porting’ in all its history – does not exist – simply because you tell me the game never launched. Congratulations! You’re confusing OPINION and a confused perception with Logic and facts! Even as it is comical that 6 people Up-voted you. Even their upvotes does nothing in the face of a Word and its definition, soooooo- yeah. That’s it :l Now stop thinking that Wording/preferences = Truth and confusing Thoughts and Opinions as Truth and Fact, cause clearly you’re running into a lot of problems by trying to force your say as something that is not.

Halo 1 was originally a MAC Game – It was never released on Mac – it was ported to and released on Xbox and PC.

The Last of Us is a PS3-exclusive title – it is being Remastered and being Ported and touched up for the PS4.

Both – Are – Ports. Case closed.

        • jordan jones

So then ryse is a port to then what an idiot troll elsewhere

          • Jason Mounce

Yes, it is just a port. It was being made on 360, and Microsoft told them to make it on Xbox One instead.

How is this trolling or idiotic? It’s not my fault that you clump negative connotations to the word ‘Port’ or ‘Porting’.

You think I’m the one trolling? LOL. I’m not the one denying a words’ existence just because some poor sob thinks ‘It sounds negative! So THUS this is COMPLETELY UNTRUE’ – It’s a Port – there is nothing negative. No insults, no slurs, no slander, no conspiracies, no ATTACKS, no hostility attached to this.

It’s a fucking Port. Thats IT….no fanboyism. It’s the fucking WORD and its definition. You sad-ass bigoted halfwits -_-

          • You are flat out wrong

Sure is. Kinect game that spent years in development hell.

      • You are flat out wrong

Yes, TLOU is a port. I expect it’ll mainly be picked up by people who couldn’t justify getting a PS3 for one game last year at the tail end of the gen.

It’s nice that former 360 owners get to play a hailed retail exclusive considering the 360 hadn’t had one of them since 2011, Edanus.
