Microsoft launched it’s Xbox One last year and it was supplemented by an impressive line-up of games available on day-one with some exclusives like Ryse: Son of Rome, Dead Rising 3 etc enough to make every gamer drool. I am sure everyone who doesn’t own a Xbox One (yet) wants to play it’s exclusives. The good news is that one of the exclusive will be released on PC, the sad news being that it isn’t a game we were really waiting for per se.
Twisted Pixel, the team behind the Xbox exclusive LocoCycle, have announced that their Digital-Download only game will be making it’s way to Steam on the 14th of February. According to the announcement made on the official site
“I’ve got an update for you on LocoCycle. We finally have a release date for the Xbox 360 version: Valentine’s Day! On Feb 14th you’ll be able to choo-choo-choose I.R.I.S. and Pablo to be your valentine for $10.
Surprise! I’m also here to tell you that we’ve been secretly working on a Steam version of LocoCycle too! Even better is that it’s coming on the same day and at the same price as the Xbox 360 version. ($10)”
LocoCycle is a motorstyle combat game in which you play as a rather too talkative motorcycle called “I.R.I.S” with its rider. The game tries really hard to provide you with a thrilling experience of high speed violence but falls short on many things. The reviews were hardly favorable for this game with Metacritic awarding it a score of 48 (user score was 3.7). If you’re still eager then give it a shot, maybe you will enjoy it. Afterall, as the developers have pointed out, you will be getting your valentine for only $10
