While watching the trailer for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, you must have noticed that at one point it says ‘The following was captured on Xbox One’. This made everyone think that the Xbox One was the leading platform for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare but it’s not and that was just a marketing deal and nothing else.
Industry insider Ahsan Rasheed tweeted:
Also I want to say one thing to all the Xbox One fans that keep telling me COD is X1 lead platform. It’s not. It’s a marketing deal.

Ahsan Rasheed also revealed that the developers who are working on first Call of Duty, Infinity Ward, are going to focus on the PlayStation 4. Rasheed said, “Here’s the part you should pay attention to. Developers inside Infinity Ward prefer the PS4. Majority will use it to play at home.”
Rasheed continued by saying, “Put that inside your head. The developers who made the game. Majority will play the game on PS4 at home with friends.”
The PlayStation 4 has sold 7 million units and has out sold the Xbox One so far, so this isn’t surprising. When another twitter users told Rasheed that Infinity Ward might favor the PlayStation 4 but Sledgehammer Games won’t, Rasheed replied, “So cute. If you think the PS4 version won’t be the definitive console version technically. I have some bad news.”
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare comes out on the 4th of November for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC.
