Xbox One shows strong developer support in Japan as familiar faces sign on

Microsoft is prepping up the release of its Xbox One console in Japan after enjoying a successful release in North America and Europe. The Xbox One will officially launch in Japan on the 4th of September with titles like Capcom’s Dead Rising 3 and Microsoft’s self published Crimson Dragon among others.

Unlike with the Xbox 360 which received poor sales and developer support from the land of the rising sun, Microsoft hopes to change things around with their latest offering. Interestingly developers like Persona developer Atlus, Dark Souls developer From Software, Disgaea developer Nippon Ichi and various other major Japanese studios are already on board and confirmed to be certified Xbox One developers. We still don’t know if they currently making games for the console or not.
