Developed by StormCube Games, Reconquest is an upcoming real-time strategy (RTS) game, scheduled to be released on December 16, 2016. The game is inspired by the 90’s RTS games, such as, Dune 2, or the Command & Conquer series.
The game is set in a post World War III world. Its a world conquered by outlaws, which players have to reconquer by making intelligent strategic decisions. With everything destroyed because of the war, the single most precious resource remaining is the radioactive shale gas. Users are assigned the task to obtain as much of the shale gas as possible in order to win battles.
Players can choose which side they want to play for, and the game consists of three modes in total: Campaign mode, Skirmish mode, and Trapped mode. In the Campaign mode, players can choose between two sides, the Outlaw clan or the Urban Forces. Each side has 10 separate story missions. In the Skirmish mode, players can compete with 3 Als on eight different maps. Finally, in the Trapped mode, users can choose to play between 8 preset challenges.
Let’s hope the game is as interesting as it sounds, and proves to be a delight for all those strategy game lovers out there.
