Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 was considered one of the best Call of Duty games to ever come out. The first-person shooter game, developed by Infinity Ward, sold millions of copies worldwide, back in 2009. It’s been six years since we were presented with a masterpiece such as Modern Warfare 2, and thousands of people still own old-gen consoles, just to play the game.
Some fans will be happy to hear that one of the maps from Modern Warfare 2 is being remastered, and will be included in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. The map Terminal, is a pre-order bonus, and will be available for fans who pre-order Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.
Activision announced this pre-order bonus via press release: “Terminal is back! The fan-favourite map from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has been reimagined in one of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare’s breathtaking new environments. Terminal is now a shuttle port on the Moon and, while playing true to the original, accommodates for new gameplay and visually raises the bar. Pre-order any edition of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and receive the Terminal Bonus Map. Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare launches November 4, 2016.”
As many of you may remember, in Modern Warfare 2, Terminal was an abandoned airport, however, now the map has been recreated to suit the theme of Infinite Warfare. Instead of being an airport on earth, Terminal is now a shuttle port on the moon. The image above gives you an idea of how the map will look once the game comes out.
