Apex Legends: What is Code 429 Error?

Apex Legends is the latest addition to the Battle Royale genre developed by Respawn Entertainment and has been quite successful. After the recent 1.1 update which was intended to fix bugs and patch the level reset problem, players have encountered another issue.

Some users on the official EA Answers HQ forum have reported experiencing Error code 429. The code description says can’t connect, no internet connection. This is despite players being online and connected to Xbox Live services.

Users mentioned that were able to play other games online just fine, the issue was only prevalent on Apex Legends. Some players tried hard resetting their consoles as well as their internet modems, but to no avail.

Is there a fix for Apex Legends Code 429 Error

There aren’t any known fixes for the issue but some users suggested waiting for a while and then restarting the game. Other suggested try again after forwarding their router ports. One user reported that he waited for almost half an hour and was able to connect. This suggests the Apex Legends Code 429 issue is a server-side one and we’ll have to wait till they’re back up and running properly.
