Assassin’s Creed 3 Remastered is supposedly coming to the Nintendo Switch. There was a listing of the game from a retailer but now it was spotted on the official Ubisoft website thus all but confirming it is coming to the Nintendo Switch.
Assassin’s Creed 3 Remastered is launching for the PS4 and Xbox One on March 29. It is a remaster that focuses on improved visuals and also has some quality of life gameplay changes that haven’t been detailed by Ubisoft.
If you head to the Club Ubisoft website, you will spot a listing for the Nintendo Switch version (via). This is for Assassin’s Creed 3 and the spin-off Liberation, which is part of the package.
Ubisoft hasn’t officially announced any Assassin’s Creed game for the Nintendo Switch so if this turns out to be true, then this will be the first time the series has made its way to the Nintendo hybrid console. Assassin’s Creed 3 was also released for the Nintendo Wii U while Assassin’s Creed Liberation was a spin-off that was developed first for the PS Vita and then later ported to PC and other consoles. It is also getting remastered along with Assassin’s Creed 3.
Rumors about an upcoming Nintendo Direct means that it is possible that Ubisoft will share an official announcement soon. In any case, there is no doubt left that this remaster is coming to the Nintendo Switch.
