Assassin’s Creed Odyssey seems to be another different take on the Assassin’s Creed formula with a story that might be based on the choices that the player makes during their journey. This was leaked through the PlayStation Store which has listed the description of the game ahead of the official reveal.
Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is set during the Greek period and will feature a Spartan as the lead character. The store description mentions choice-based narrative and talks about the player assuming control of the Spartan warrior from the beginning to make him a legendary hero.
Take control of your destiny and write your own epic odyssey as you journey become a legendary Spartan hero. Live incredible adventures in a world where every choice matters. Rejected by your family, you must embark on an adventure from outcast mercenary to legendary Spartan hero to uncover the truth about your past.
A small section of concept art was also leaked through the store listing which you can view below.
Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is expected to be officially revealed at the upcoming E3 2018. It seems to follow the trend of releasing yearly Assassin’s Creed games with Assassin’s Creed Origins releasing last year. Ubisoft did tease a short snippet of the game when it was leaked earlier that teased what to expect from the game.
