You can now find out how much space is required to download Assassin’s Creed Odyssey ahead of the game’s launch on October 5th. The pre-load for it is also live early on the Xbox One so if you have pre-ordered the game, it is possible to download all the required data aside from the usual day 1 updates.
The download size of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is around 45 GB on the Xbox One. This size will likely change as the launch draws near since this is simply the initial pre-load for the game. It doesn’t include the size of the day one update that will most likely get released once the game gets closer to its October 5th launch. As for the download size on other platforms like PS4, it is going to be quite similar to the Xbox One version.
Ubisoft also recently confirmed the season pass details and post-launch free updates for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. There is 2 major story content planned in addition to the remaster of Assassin’s Creed 3 and Liberation. Speaking of which, the game director of Assassin’s Creed 3 has shared what he wanted to see changed for the game.
Assassin’s Creed Odyssey will launch on October 5th for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One. You can read the PC system specifications for it from here that also include the recommended and 4K requirements.
