Assassin’s Creed Odyssey will get a new patch with update version 1.06 to fix the capture gallery bug on PS4.
This was revealed by Ubisoft community manager on the Assassin’s Creed subreddit. Replying to someone asking about the capture gallery bug fix, the community manager confirmed that an upcoming update will address this issue. Right now, the game is patched to update version 1.05 on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC, so this could be referring to the next numbered update.
In another post, he stated that the bug with wet textures for clothes will also be resolved with a future update. There are still some issues that users have with the game, so hopefully, they are all fixed in time before the first DLC arrives for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.
If you don’t know about the capture gallery bug, it relates to the images that you take in Photo Mode for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and save them on your PS4. Due to this bug, all the other pictures from games that you have screen captured will display as black images. The nature of this bug was annoying since there was a temporary fix, by deleting the Assassin’s Creed Odyssey images, but hopefully, it is officially resolved with an update now.
