Assassin’s Creed Origins is out tomorrow for the PS4 and Xbox One. The game has support for the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X. It currently runs at a dynamic 4K resolution on the PS4 Pro while Xbox One X version appears to utilize a checkberboard rendering technique along with dynamic 4K.
We are still working on our review for Assassin’s Creed Origins but while you wait, you can check out these gorgeous 4K screenshots taken from the game that showcase the capability of the visuals on the PS4 Pro. Despite the fact that the game uses a dynamic resolution to target 4K, it still looks clean offering crisp visuals on the PS4 Pro.
The screeshots above were all taken on a PS4 Pro at 4K resolution. Since the game doesn’t offer any rendering modes to select, only the HUD was disabled to take these screenshots. A couple of them are also from the Photo Mode which is fantastic addition to the game letting you freely roam the camera around to take images of the background or any character with ease.
Assassin’s Creed Origins will be out on October 26th for the PS4, Xbox One and PC.
