Assassin’s Creed Origins Runs At 4K With ‘Steady’ 30 FPS On Xbox Scorpio

Xbox Scorpio will be revealed within a few hours and as the hype is slowly ramping up, more information about the console and the games that it will support has been dropping lately. Anthem is one of the game that has been confirmed to support the Xbox Scorpio in addition to Madden NFL by EA, which will allow the developers to utilize the extra hardware offered by Scorpio to improve the visuals for their game.

The price point for Xbox Scorpio was also teased recently but what about some of the upcoming games? We already have confirmation that Shadow of War, Anthem and Star Wars Battlefront 2 will support Xbox Scorpio but now the Assassin’s Creed developers have also shared an interesting information regarding the potential of this upcoming console.

In an interview with Game Informer that was leaked recently, the developers talked about the Scorpio version for Assassin’s Creed Origins. They stated that it took them just a few weeks after received the dev kits for Scorpio to get the game running on console. Game Informer has checked the game running at 4K on the Xbox Scorpio and while they weren’t able to see any noticeable visual improvement, they stated that the game runs at ‘steady’ 30 fps on the Xbox Scorpio and they found it more consistent than the PC version of the game.
