Looks like we’ll be waiting quite the time to play Batman: Arkham Knight as publishers Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment have finally revealed a set release date for the game. Batman: Arkham Knight will release for the PS4, Xbox One and PC on 2 June 2015.
Announced back in April the game was initially set for a Fall 2o14 release, but was later delayed to an unspecified date in 2015 which has now been confirmed. Alongside the announcement of a release date two special editions have also been announced for the game.
The first is a Limited Edition copy of Batman: Arkham Knight that will of course include the game in a steel book case, 80 page artbook, zero issue of the Batman: Arkham Knight comic book series, three exclusive character skins from the New 52 universe and finally a Batman statue that looks to be of pretty good quality. The Limited Edition will be priced at £74.99 and €99.99 on PC and £89.99, €119.99, $99.99 on PS4 and Xbox One.
The second is called the Batmobile edition. The Batman: Arkham Knight Batmobile edition will include all items included in the Limited Edition but the statue will be swapped out for a Batmobile statue designed by Triforce. This edition will retail for £169.99, €199.99, $199.99 and will only be available for the PS4 and Xbox One.
