Batman: Arkham Knight First Week Sales Exceeds Witcher 3's

Sales figure of Batman: Arkham Knight is higher than that of Witcher 3

It’s a very happy day for Batman: Arkham Knight fans (we’re not referring to those who play on the PC platform) because the video game has managed to exceed the sales of Witcher 3 during the first week of its launch. GameSpot reports that according to UK sales monitor Chart-Track, Batman: Arkham Knight has become the highest selling game of 2015 so far. It might not be the most stable one as far as performance is concerned, particularly for Microsoft Windows platform owners, but then again, the facts speak for themselves.

During its debut week on the UK chart, Batman: Arkham Knight was successfully able to dethroned Lego Jurassic World, which happens to be another Warner Bros. published title. Lego Jurassic World is currently standing in at number 2, followed by the mass multiplayer online title, The Elder Scrolls Online. Coming in at number four is Yoshi’s Woolly World and finally, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt stands in at number 5.

Given below is a list of the full top ten for the week:

  1. Batman: Arkham Knight
  2. Lego Jurassic World
  3. The Elder Scrolls Online
  4. Yoshi’s Woolly World
  5. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
  6. Grand Theft Auto V
  7. Call of Duty: Advance Warfare
  8. FIFA 15
  9. Destiny
  10. Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward

Despite the fact that Batman: Arkham Knight is enjoying its first position, the video game has been met with severe criticism, especially on the PC version for being virtually unplayable. There were numerous complaints stating how the game stutters incessantly, despite having the latest computer hardware and software installed.

If the problems continue to persist, then Batman: Arkham Knight might not be remaining on the top spot for very long. Rocksteady Games has begun the patching work of the video game; let us see how long it takes them to fix the title for all platforms.
