Earlier today on the Warner Bros. Games forums, the Batman: Return to Arkham Dev team announced that the game will be delayed. The game will be delayed so that the team has more “time to deliver a polished Batman Arkham game experience”.
The collection features the remastered versions of the first two Batman games in the Arkham series, including Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City. Batman: Return to Arkham is being developed by Rocksteady Games and Virtous Games, and will be published by Warner Bros. Interactive.
Both the games included in Batman: Return to Arkham are being remastered using the Unreal Engine 4. The collection will include the Game of the Year editions of Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City, as well as all additional downloadable content.
The game will also include upgraded graphics as well as improved character models and environments. Players will also notice an upgrade in the game’s lighting, effects and shaders.
Batman: Return to Arkham was set to release on July 26 but after the announcement, Warner Bros. Interactive have yet to set a release date for the game. Batman: Return To Arkham will be available on the PS4 and Xbox One at a future date.
