Battlefield 4 is a first-person shooter game developed by EA DICE, and published by EA. The game is the sequel to Battlefield 3, and came out back in October, 2013. Battlefield 4 is still played by thousands of fans, across multiple platforms.
Battlefield fans will be happy to hear that the fourth DLC for Battlefield, Naval Strike, is now available for free, on all platforms. This is the fourth DLC for Battlefield 4 that EA is giving away for free. Previously, Second Assault, Dragon’s Teeth, and Final Stand are DLCs that were available free for download.
The Naval Strike DLC features four brand new maps known as Operation Mortar, Nansha Strike, Wave Breaker and Lost Islands. In addition to the maps, the DLC also includes new weapons, vehicles and a new game mode called Carrier Assault Mode. Carrier Assault is a game mode inspired by Titan mode from Battlefield 2142. In Carrier Assault, your objective is to destroy the enemy team’s carrier, before they infiltrate and destroy yours. The Naval Strike DLC is now available for free on PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC.
These DLCs are giving away for free to celebrate the Battlefield series. EA has also given away free DLC for their latest Battlefield game, Battlefield Hardline. We are just 3 months away from the release of the new Battlefield game, Battlefield 1. Battlefield 1 is the first main entry in the Battlefield series, since Battlefield 4, which came out in 2013. The game takes place in the World War 1 era, as we saw in the gameplay trailer, which came out last month. Battlefield 1 will be available on October 21st for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
