Battlefield is getting a brand new mainline game soon and the developer of Battlefield, EA DICE is hyping up the reveal of the game set for May 6th.
In a new teaser, the developer showed game engine footage that had a close-up of a character model and it looked realistic, just like a CGI movie. You can check it out in the video below.
Battlefield 4 was the last proper mainline game for the series that was released in November 2013 along with the launch of the PS4 and Xbox One. Since then, the series has received one spin-off called Battlefield Hardline and there hasn’t been any announcement regarding a mainline game until recently.
Just like it was seen in the past Battlefield games, the game will utilize Frostbite Engine, which is an internal engine from EA DICE and it is also utilized in a variety of different games including the upcoming Mirror’s Edge Catalyst.
Battlefield 5 reveal is currently set for May 6th at 4 PM ET/9 PM BST.
