Battlefield Hardline is being developed by Visceral Games, who are the developers of Dante’s Inferno and Dead Space, and published by Electronic Arts. This is the first time the series has focused on the Cops vs. Robbers aspect of the story and appears to be more of a spin-off using the traditional Battlefield formula. The game will have a single player story mode with players reprising the role of cops along with a multiplayer mode, where players can either play as cops or robbers.
Battlefield Hardline will be released on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC this March.
