EA DICE has shared a new update on the Battlefield V open beta. They have shared their findings with the closed alpha that was available on PC. They are also going to launch an open beta in early September although they didn’t mention any platforms for it.
Battlefield V is the next major mainline game in the series after Battlefield 4 and Battlefield 1 released early this generation. It seems to build on the success of Battlefield 1 with its historic world war 1 setting and features world war 2 as the main point of interest.
It seems like EA DICE will be closely looking at the data they have collected with the closed alpha and using it to make the final version a better product. They also have plans to conduct more internal and external tests for the game ahead of its launch this October. The game will also be playable at Gamescom.
Lastly, if you are hoping to get a chance to play it again before launch, you can wait for the Battlefield V open beta that will be released in early September. If you want early access to the full game, you will have to purchase EA Access for Xbox One or Origin Access for the PC in order to play an early access trial of the game before it launches.
