The wait is over for Xbox One and PC users who have been eagerly waiting for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3’s latest DLC to drop. The Salvation DLC will be available for the Xbox One and PC on October 6th.
The Salvation DLC was released earlier last month on September 6th. Like every other Black Ops 3 map pack, Salvation will include four new multiplayer maps, as well as a new Zombies map for players to enjoy.
The four multiplayer maps in the Salvation DLC are Outlaw, Citadel, Rupture and Micro. Outlaw is a remastered version of Standoff from Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. A fan favorite map with a western twist. Citadel is set in a huge spooky castle, while Micro is a unique map where you fight as miniature soldiers on a picnic table. Rupture is another remastered map from an older Call of Duty game. Treyarch has brought back the map, Outskirts, from Call of Duty: World at War, which is remastered as a futuristic facility.
The Salvation DLC brings an end to the story of the amazing Zombies mode. A game mode which started off as a easter egg, quickly became popular and fans fell in love with it. Unfortunately, Revelation is a final chapter in the zombies storyline.
