Black Ops 4 Blackout has Split screen, first in a Battle Royale game

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4’s Blackout has native support for Split screen gameplay, which is a first in a major Battle Royale game.

The game came out today and people have already discovered the unannounced feature, which could be a main selling point for a lot of people. Other Battle Royale Games like Fortnite and PUBG still don’t support Split screen multiplayer this far into their lifespan, while Black Ops 4 has it on Day 1.

It’ll take some time to see how it performs as having the console render two versions of the game simultaneously must take a hit on the game runs. In normal multiplayer Call of Duty games usually have the two screens run at lower resolutions, detail and FPS. We’ll keep you posted as we find out more.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is out now on PS4, Xbox One and PC. What do you think of the game’s Split screen support? Will you be using it? Let us know in the comments.
