Players are reporting Call of Duty: Black Ops 4’s Blackout mode is crashing after the recent update.
Xbox One users across social media are reporting Black Ops 4’s Blackout Battle Royale mode is crashing constantly after the recent update.
The Black Ops 4 1.10 update released alongside the Absolute Zero event which added Zero – a brand new specialist, Black Ops 2’s Hijacked to Blackout, new additions to the Black Market and more.
The crash occurs in different situation but the most commonly reported one seems to be when the player count goes down to around 15 from the initial 100. The game would then freeze and crash, forcing players to restart the game or in some cases the console.
Things aren’t all bad though as Treyarch have acknowledged the issue and are working on a fix which should be released soon:
We are aware that Xbox One X players are experiencing an intermittent freeze during late-game play in Blackout. We are actively investigating and will deploy an update as soon as we have a resolution to the issue. We will update you once that happens.
