Blizzard Hiring For A New Unannounced Diablo Game

Blizzard Entertainment have decided it’s time to start hiring for a new project and not just any project but a new Diablo game. Diablo 3 originally launched in 2012 and was ported to current-gen consoles in August of 2014. Diablo 3 broke the 30 million copies sold milestone recently and of course its expansion Diablo III: Reaper of Souls sold almost 2.7 million in its opening week.

The job listing has several requirements and it’s clear that it’s related to Diablo.  Blizzard is looking for an Art Director and it requires a minimum of 10 years of experience in the art department and five years as a lead or director artist. Also, a “plus” for you is to have “a passion for games with a deep understanding of the Diablo franchise”.

He also should be able to produce models “with popular 2D and 3D applications” and “a proven track record of shipping AAA products in an art director role.”

It is expected that the game will be announced at Blizzard’s convention, Blizzcon, taking place during November.
