Following the previous report where a new winter themed expansion was teased for Forza Horizon 3, the developers have now officially revealed the upcoming expansion for the game.
Titled Blizzard Mountain, this new expansion will be set in a completely new setting from the base game. Blizzard Mountain’s new alpine setting has much more verticality, featuring new areas such as an extreme sports snow park and even a massive frozen lake for players to explore. The DLC will also feature a new Bucket List, Barn Vehicles and Rival events.
The seven new cars added this time around are:
- 2016 Ford GYMKHANA 9 Focus RS RX
- 1965 Ford F-100 Flareside Abatti Racing Trophy Truck
- 1975 Lancia Stratos HF Group 4
- 1985 Lancia Delta S4 Group B
- 2016 Nissan Titan Warrior Concept
- 2016 RJ Anderson #37 Polaris RZR-Rockstar Energy Pro 2 Truck
- 2016 Subaru #199 WRX STI VT15r Rally Car

The DLC will be available both separately, or as part of the Forza Horizon 3 Expansion Pass for $34.99. Purchasing the Forza Horizon 3 Expansion Pass will also gives players discounted access to another upcoming expansion.
The Blizzard Mountain Expansion for Forza Horizon 3 is set for release on 13th December, 2016 for the Xbox One and the PC. You can also check out the previously released AlpineStars Car Pack here.
