Bloodborne Save Corrupted After 2.50 Update? Here’s How To Fix It

Bloodborne is one of the few games which has been affected with a rather rare bug on the latest firmware update. If you update to the latest firmware on the PS4 (2.50) then there is a slight chance that your Bloodborne save might be corrupted.

If you are one of the guys who has been affected by this save bug, then you should fear not, as there is a temporary fix for this save bug as discovered by some users online.

The issue can possibly occur if you update to the latest firmware and then download the day 1 update again while you still have your old save intact. In that case, you won’t be able to continue as the game will show an error message saying that an update is currently in progress. To force the game to continue, you will have to start a new game and once you are back in the game with your character, you should quit back to the main menu and the continue option should be fully working now.

Bloodborne-PS4-screens (3)Bloodborne is out now exclusively on the PS4. It was developed by From Software in collaboration with Sony Computer Entertainment Japan.
