Borderlands 3 was announced recently and it will be out later this year. The game is coming to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC with no Nintendo Switch version announced, but the developers would love to see the game there.
Borderlands series is no stranger to a portable as the second game has been released for the PS Vita. Borderlands 3 might not be coming to the Nintendo Switch but Gearbox Software founder, Randy Pitchford wants to see it happen.
In a tweet when replying to a fan asking about the Nintendo Switch ports for the Borderlands series, Randy replied: “I would love to see that happen.”

This tweet doesn’t mean much for now but perhaps if Nintendo can convince Gearbox Software to port Borderlands 3 or the previous games and helps them in this process, just like Sony did with the port of Borderlands 2, it might be possible to see the series on the Nintendo Switch.
Borderlands 3 is getting gameplay reveal on May 1st. It will be out on September 13, 2019, for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
